BFF is a long-form improv team based in New York City. The team was formed in 2007 after its members met taking improv classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. The group performs regularly at various comedy theaters in New York. Such venues include Under St. Marks, The Creek & Cave, Broadway Comedy Club, Gotham City Improv, The Red Room, The Krane Theatre, Park Side Lounge, Magnet Theatre, The P.I.T. and The UCB Theatre.

Betsy Hoffman - Betsy (www.betsyhoffman.com) has been performing improv comedy for over ten years. She started out in Short Form in 1999. Party Quirks is still one of her favorites!!! Betsy trained at Stella Adler in NYC. & Classically trained in London at RADA. While there she trained with Keith Johnstone, author of IMPRO. She also completed a two year classical voice & speach intensive with Shane Ann Younts (NYU/TISH) In January of 2004 Betsy went through all of the classes at UCB. Betsy started taking classes at Magnet in 2005 & went through all of the classes there as well! Betsy has been on many Indie Teams: UglyStick, DayJob, Wizard Sleeve, Bachelorette, Dream NYC, Thunderhead, Dearly Beloved, Bear in a Hammock & BFF. Emily Tarver - Emily (www.emilytarver.com) has been performing improv for 10 years, 7 in NYC. A native of Texas (and proud of it) her credits include, The Big C, UCB's ASSSSCAT and has numerous commercials such as T-Mobile, Yoplait and Capital One. Emily is also a part of the folk/comedy/doowop/rap/country/accapella band called Summer and Eve (www.myspace.com/summerandeve) The only thing that makes her feel good is making people laugh and laughing at funny things. And puppies. Baby bulldogs specifically.
Jaime Skinner - Jaime is an actor, improviser and writer living in and proudly from Queens, New York. She has performed with various improv teams, including Bachelorette Party, Hogwarts Improvisation Society, Emanciprov, The Dream NYC and the UCB sketch team, Slow Burn. Jaime loves TV, Movies, Reading, Sleeping, and Celebrity Gossip. One of the proudest moments in her life was disproving the theory that TV doesn’t teach you anything by passing her Psych 101 class. Not because of attending classes or reading, but by using the knowledge she acquired from watching Daytime TV Talk Shows.
Nicole Alesi - Nicole has been performing long-form improv for 5 years. A graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and the Fashion Institute of Technology, she has a background in musical theatre and graphic design. Favorite credits include, Aida (Weathervane Theatre,) Dreamgirls starring Jennifer Holliday (The Fox Theatre -Atlanta Georgia) and being a part of the international tours of Hair (European & Italian) When not performing, Nicole loves to illustrate and design a line of greeting cards under the name, Stuff by Nicole.
